Citizens Advice Redbridge
Citizens Advice Redbridge provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice. Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. They are an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network. Their dedicated Citizens Advice Help to Claim team members can also support you in the early stages of a new Universal Credit (UC) claim, from application through to their first correct payment.
London Borough of Redbridge – Benefit Service
London Borough of Redbridge’s Benefit Service offer advice on benefits, budgeting, and cost-of-living support. The team assists with Housing Benefit, Council Tax, hardship payments, disability benefit applications, Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments and Mandatory Reconsideration submissions.
The service also signpost to services like Work Redbridge, Citizens Advice, and support with utilities, furniture, and clothing.

Reach Out domestic abuse service
Reach Out is a support service for any adult or child aged 16 or over in Redbridge who is experiencing domestic abuse. The service provides practical help and emotional support to victims/survivors, including children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse. There is also help available for those who are worried about their behaviour and wish to address it.

FiND – Redbridge Families Information Direct
FiND is a free, confidential service offering information, advice, and support to families in Redbridge. They help parents and carers access local services, childcare, activities, and resources to support their children’s development and wellbeing.
Healthy Start Scheme
The Healthy Start scheme provides a pre-paid card to help eligible families and pregnant individuals buy healthy foods such as milk, fruits, vegetables, and pulses.

Hestia’s Redbridge Recovery Hub, in partnership with the North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT), offers free mental health support for individuals aged 18 and above. It provides a safe, inviting, and inclusive space where residents of Redbridge can simply turn up, no appointment necessary.

Refugee & Migrant Justice’s Ilford-based community hub serves as a place for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants to access support and community connections. The hub includes a foodbank, English conversation classes and other wellbeing activities throughout the year.
