Our Mission, Vision & Values
Our Mission Statement:
Redbridge Foodbank is dedicated to the relief and prevention of poverty in Redbridge and surrounding areas, through the provision of food, and related services that assist in breaking the cycle of poverty.
- Our activities are co-ordinated nationwide through our partnership with Trussell, to contribute to a United Kingdom that no longer needs food banks.
Our objectives:
- To provide emergency support for people in crisis.
- To empower our clients and enable them to follow a dignified pathway of security and resilience, by partnering with professional and relevant advice and support services.
- To develop the capacity and skills of our volunteers so they can support our shared community.
- To reach out to embed and promote, at all levels of the organisation, people with lived experience of poverty and represent fully the diversity of our community.
- To contribute to a sustainable nationwide strategy to end the need for food banks.
