Colours of Redbridge Workshop Information:

Inspired by our recent project, Golden Hour, this creative activity invites participants to make inedible dumplings based on the Caribbean dish Stew Peas and Rice.

Drawn from a food story shared by a Redbridge resident, this hands-on session offers a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate the cultural richness found in local food traditions. Participants of all ages can take part in this mindful, fun, and creative experience—learning about the dish’s ingredients, the story behind it, and its cultural roots while crafting their own (non-edible) versions of this comforting classic.
