Tesco supermarket in Barkingside hosted food collections on the 6 and 7 September. Redbridge foodbank volunteers handed out “shopping lists” with suggestions of what to donate. The Redbridge foodbank heavily relies upon food collections to replenish its food stocks. The food collection received an impressive 984.7 kg of food and hygiene items, and £144.62.
